The University Health Center staff is able offer initial medical evaluations for hormone therapy as well as initiation/continuation of hormone therapy. Women's Clinic

Gynecological exams are an important part of your total health care. To ensure a safe and comfortable exam, the Health Center offers these exams both in the Women's Clinic and in other Primary Care Clinics as needed. Individuals who identify as FtM who prefer not to be seen in the Women's Clinic may set up an appointment for the exam in a different clinic after consultation with their own PCP.

The LGBT Resource Center, EOO, and many student volunteers have compiled a list of All Gender and/or single stall restroom facilities on-campus. If you know of any other gender neutral restroom facilities on-campus, please contact the LGBTRC, so it can be added to the list. NOTE: All the restrooms at the University Health Center are single-stall and marked for All Genders.

Counseling & Psychiatric Services (CAPS)

CAPS offers short-term individual and couples therapy, group counseling, psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring, programs and workshops, crisis intervention, and referral assistance to campus and community resources when appropriate. The CAPS liaison for the LGBTRC is Dr. Shannon Bowles.

The Director of the LGBT Resource Center works directly with the Department of University Housing to review all requests for accommodations. Students desiring to make a request for accommodations or who are open to having a transgender roommate may contact the LGBT Resource Center.
