Safe Space Open Enrollment

The Safe Space program at UGA is a three and a half hour training for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in learning about gender and sexual identity, homophobia, heterosexism, and how they can provide support and work toward being an ally for the LGBT community.

Lambda Alliance’s Pride Prom

Please join Lambda Alliance for our Pride Prom, "Springtime in Paris," an social event for LGBT and allied people. 

The event includes photos provided by Off The Wall Photos of Athens, performances by local drag group The Kourtesans, and music provided by WUOG 90.5 of the University of Georgia. Did we mention a ton of food as well? Tickets may be purchased at the Tate Student Center Ticket Office, online through the ticket link included in this event, or the day of the event.

The event is drug-free, alcohol-free.

PRISM BBQ

Prism is a dialogue group for students who identify as LGBT people of color. It was developed by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center and the Office of Multicultural Services and Programs (MSP) to recognize and address intersections of race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual identity. Prism serves as a space to explore what it means to hold these identities, create dialogue, and build community in an informal and affirming setting.

This event is a social for students of PRISM to connect, close the year, and learn about PRISM for the fall of 2018.

Lavender Graduation

Lavender Graduation is an annual celebration and recognition event that acknowledges the achievements and contributions of LGBT students at the University of Georgia. Graduating students, as well as alumni, have an opportunity to participate in the program and receive a lavender diploma and stole.
