Volunteering at the LGBT Resource Center

We appreciate and depend on our volunteers as they provide the support of a full-time administrative assistant position.

Serve as first point of contact when students, faculty, staff, and visitors enter the Center
Perform administrative assistant duties including answering phones and maintaining a clean environment
Provide tours of the Center to visitors
Provide resources and referral tools to students in need of extra support
Attend volunteer meetings
Assist in revising printed and online materials
Assist in researching topics on LGBT related subjects
Organize materials for outreach programs such as Safe Space
Assist the LGBTRC Programming Board with special events and projects

Volunteers may study and/or work on homework during their shift.
