LGBT History Project

This project was started in 2004 by students Stefanie Papps and Gareth Griffin as a class assignment. Since then, countless volunteers have worked to find, scan and record all of the events listed on this site. You will find many documents on this site that put together a long history of activism and heroism at the University of Georgia. As we continue to add events, you will also find watershed moments nationally and internationally.
