The LGBT Resource Center is staffed by two full time staff members, one graduate assistant, and a host of student workers and volunteers. If you are interested in working and/or volunteering with the LGBT Resource Center just stop on by and check us out!
Student Workers
Students that qualify for the Federal Student Worker program may apply to work in the LGBT Resource
Center. Student workers answer phones, greet visitors, and work on special projects in the Center. These
positions are for fall and spring semesters.
LGBT Resource Center Programming Board
The LGBTRC Programming Board is a group of about seven students who, advised by the LGBTRC
graduate assistant, plans and implements all of the annual programming for the Center. It is a one year
commitment that begins at the end of spring semester.
Student Affairs Practicum Student
First-year masters students in the College Student Affairs Administration program are provided
opportunities to gain first-hand experience under supervision and guidance of qualified and dedicated
professionals in the field of higher education. The LGBT Resource Center is one of the practicum sites
available. This position is held during the spring semester.
